Reliable access to electrical power is becoming increasingly important—not only for outdoor activities, but also for commercial operations, transportation, field work, emergency preparedness, and temporary backup applications.

At JOSEPHSAN PRIVATE LIMITED, we offer a range of professional portable power stations manufactured in Taiwan and supported by JosephSan in Singapore.

Designed for applications where mains electricity may be unavailable, inconvenient or temporarily interrupted, these systems provide a mobile source of stored electrical energy for a wide variety of suitable equipment.

Unlike conventional fuel-powered generators, portable battery power stations operate without engine exhaust during battery discharge and can provide a quiet source of AC power for many applications.

Our current range is available in three main energy-capacity classes:

3.22 kWh, 6 kWh, and 13 kWh.

The 6 kWh and 13 kWh models are available in voltage versions suitable for different regional electrical systems, including 110/120 V AC and 220/230 V AC.

1. 3.22 kWh Portable Power Station

The 3.22 kWh model offers a useful balance between stored energy capacity and mobility. It can be considered for applications such as:

  • Laptops, tablets and mobile phones

  • Communication equipment and chargers

  • Portable lighting

  • Mobile workstations

  • Field service and maintenance work

  • Outdoor and temporary work locations

  • Transportation support

  • Emergency preparedness

  • Selected household appliances and electronic equipment

For customers evaluating runtime, it is important to distinguish between energy capacity and equipment power consumption.

Example (ideal theoretical calculation):  3.22 kWh ÷ 0.8 kW = approximately 4.0 hours

Actual operating time will normally be shorter because of inverter losses, battery-management limits, operating temperature, equipment characteristics and usable battery capacity. For this reason, JosephSan recommends assessing the customer’s actual load before estimating operating duration.

2. 6 kWh Portable Power Station

The 6 kWh model provides substantially greater energy storage for applications requiring longer operation or higher electrical loads. It is available in versions for 110/120 V AC systems and 220/230 V AC systems.

Potential applications include:

  • Commercial field operations

  • Service and maintenance teams

  • Temporary work sites

  • Mobile technical equipment

  • Communications systems

  • Event and exhibition support

  • Transportation applications

  • Emergency backup for suitable equipment

  • Selected household appliances

  • Extended off-grid operation

Its larger energy reserve makes it particularly useful where the customer requires longer runtime than a smaller portable system can provide. Rather than selecting a power station based solely on battery capacity, JosephSan helps customers consider the actual connected load, expected operating time, and application requirements.

13 kWh Portable Power Station

3. 13 kWh High-Capacity Portable Power Station

The 13 kWh model represents the highest-capacity system in the present JosephSan range. Like the 6 kWh model, it is available for both 110/120 V AC and 220/230 V AC applications.

This larger energy reserve may be suitable for demanding applications such as:

  • Extended commercial operations

  • Temporary electrical supply

  • Emergency communications

  • Command and coordination equipment

  • Mobile field operations

  • Remote worksites

  • Disaster-response support

  • Transportation and logistics applications

  • Large outdoor activities or events

  • Longer-duration backup for suitable equipment

Always select the right power station based on the electrical equipment being used, its continuous and peak power requirements, and the required operating duration.

More Than an Outdoor Power Station

Portable power stations are often associated with camping and recreational activities. Their usefulness, however, extends far beyond that. JosephSan sees potential applications across a range of professional sectors.

Industrial and Commercial Operations

Portable energy can support laptops, instruments, communications equipment, lighting, and other suitable electrical devices during field service, commissioning, inspection, and temporary operations.

Transportation and Fleet Operations

Portable electrical power can support operational equipment where fixed electrical supply is unavailable or inconvenient. For ambulance and medical-transport fleets, for example, potential applications include powering or charging laptops, tablets, mobile phones, radios, communications equipment, portable lighting and other non-life-support operational equipment.

Emergency Communications

During a power interruption, maintaining communications can be extremely important. Suitable portable power systems may support equipment such as Wi-Fi routers, mobile communications equipment, radios and charging systems.

Temporary and Remote Worksites

Engineering teams, technicians, inspection personnel and contractors may require electrical power at locations where permanent mains supply is unavailable.

Home and Emergency Preparedness

A portable power station may also provide temporary backup for selected household and communication equipment during a mains-power interruption.

Outdoor Activities and Events

Portable battery power can provide a quiet alternative when engine-driven generators are undesirable because of noise, exhaust, or logistical constraints.

Selecting the Right Portable Power Station

Battery capacity alone does not determine whether a power station is suitable for a particular application. Before selecting a model, customers should consider:

  • Equipment operating voltage

  • Continuous power consumption

  • Starting or surge power

  • Required operating duration

  • Number of devices operating simultaneously

  • Charging requirements

  • Environmental and operating conditions

  • Mobility requirements

  • Electrical connection and outlet requirements

JosephSan can work with customers to understand these requirements before recommending an appropriate model. For professional and commercial applications, this application-based approach is particularly important.

Important Note on Medical Applications

Portable power equipment can be useful in healthcare and medical-transport environments for many support applications.

JosephSan does not represent these Portable Power Stations as substitutes for certified medical power systems or dedicated life-support power supplies.

Any proposed use with medical equipment must be evaluated according to the medical-device manufacturer’s requirements, applicable electrical and safety standards, and the specific operating environment.

For ambulance and medical-transport applications, JosephSan presently focuses on non-life-support operational equipment, including communications devices, laptops, tablets, phones, chargers, lighting and similar equipment.

This careful approach lets customers benefit from portable electrical power without assuming specialized power-system certification is required for the equipment.

Quiet, Mobile Energy Where It Is Needed

One of the principal advantages of a battery-based portable power system is its ability to deliver electrical energy without operating a combustion engine. This can make it particularly attractive for applications where:

  • Generator noise is undesirable

  • Fuel storage is inconvenient

  • Exhaust fumes must be avoided

  • Equipment needs to be moved frequently

  • Temporary electrical power is required quickly

Appropriate installation, charging, ventilation, environmental and operating instructions should nevertheless always be followed.

Talk to JosephSan About Your Application

Every application is different. A customer operating communications equipment from a service vehicle has very different requirements from an engineering team working at a remote site, an event organizer, or a business preparing for temporary mains-power interruptions.

Rather than simply choosing the largest battery available, JosephSan encourages customers to discuss their actual equipment, load requirements, and expected operating duration with us.
